Is a day on the beach complete without a visit to the local’s favorite pizzeria? After visiting Pensacola, FL for a business trip we asked some locals some of their favorite places and Lillian’s Pizza came up more than once. Located on Perdido Key Beach, Lillian’s Pizza is known by many locals for it’s ½ priced bar from 2-7 PM and the pizza of all pizza their signature Perdido Pass Special. I of course opted for a thin crust pizza with Portabella mushrooms, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, Green Pepper and Mozzarella Cheese.
The menu has an array of salad, sandwiches and specialty pizzas. Some menu highlights are the Taco Chicken Stromboli, Birmingham Exchange(Spinach, Artichoke Hearts, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Feta Cheese) and Spicy Crabmeat Pizza (Fresh crabmeat, corn, black beans, garlic, jalapeno peppers, red pepper, green pepper and Mozzarella cheese). Prices were decent ranging from $7-13.
Apart from the good food, the service was okay (the waitress initially messed up my order, but promptly fixed it so I survived!) Lillian’s Pizza is a great place to grab dinner with friends by the beach or grab a personal size pizza to-go.Surfboard table overlooking the beach
